ImagIT’s nationwide coverage and implementation of best practices allowed us to meet the client’s needs for a cabling project with 900 sites and an aggressive timeline.
A hotel brand with locations nationwide had a need for cabling upgrades and repairs, telephony, and data drops to its 900 locations. As an expansive organization, this client needed vendors, partners, and service teams with at least equal coverage to meet project demands.
ImagIT’s Project Management Office (PMO) used existing processes based on best practices and industry expertise to work more efficiently and eliminate overhead while delivering a quality service to this valued customer. ImagIT completed the cabling and data drop portion of the project in North America through the partnership with a trusted telephony partner. ImagIT’s PMO worked with the client and the telephony partner to communicate with the client on each site’s environment, select qualified ImagIT engineers, and create streamlined schedules. The PMO then oversaw the process at each site, communicating with the selected engineers regarding existing cabling conditions and issues, needed hardware equipment and installations, and testing and completion. ImagIT managed all aspects of the project to keep the engagement on track both in terms of time and budget while conveying important information to the client site managers.
ImagIT implemented processes and procedures that saved the client time and money while completing all sites to the client’s satisfaction. The Project Management Office and Engineering Department worked with each of the 900 sites to systematically complete services within an aggressive timeline.
