This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Manager, to join our company at a pivotal point in our growth and excel in demonstrating your skills in identifying, closing, and managing profitable sales of the company’s products and services. This team member will plan and carry out all sales related activities on both assigned customer accounts and new customer opportunities, within designated sales territories and selected vertical markets. Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and profitable delivery of sales opportunities. This role will be 80% inside sales and 20% travel/outside sales.

Specific Purpose and Responsibilities:

  • Generate and qualify sales leads
  • Source and develop client referrals
  • Prepare sales action plans and account development strategies
  • Schedule sales activity, including calls, meetings, proposals, and follow-ups
  • Meet and exceed sales plan and sales targets
  • Develop and maintain a customer database within the company CRM systems
  • In conjunction with Marketing, develop and maintain sales and promotional materials
  • Plan and conduct direct marketing activities including, event attendance, networking and client calls.
  • Make regular sales calls to new and existing clients
  • Deliver presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
  • Negotiate with clients
  • Develop and close sales proposals
  • Prepare and present sales contracts
  • Work inter-departmentally to ensure successful and profitable delivery of client projects
  • Use our CRM system to maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports
  • Respond to sales inquiries and customer contact by phone, electronically or in person
  • Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
  • Follow up on sales activity
  • Monitor and report on sales activities for management
  • Participate in sales events
  • Be aware of competitors, market conditions and product development
  • Up to 20% travel required

Education and Experience:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years experience with principles and practices of B2B IT sales in both channel and direct client sectors
  • IT literate and familiar with Microsoft Office suite applications
  • Strong client management skills
  • Commercial understanding of sales profitability
  • Knowledge of digital sales platforms including professional social media
  • Experience in delivering group presentations
  • Track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets

Salary, Commission & Benefits:

  • Salary range is $80,000 – $100,000 plus commission and will be determined based on skills, education, and relevant experience.
  • Additional compensation includes paid vacation, paid holidays, sick days, health/dental/vision insurance, 401k plan, and opportunities for growth.
