Michael has been a CompTIA (Computing Technology Industry Association) member for three years as part of his role as Business Director at multinational IT company ImagIT Solutions. He has been successful in that role thanks to a strong focus on education and business relationships. With ImagIT, Michael has helped countless organizations find the ideal IT solution for their need, spanning from part/full-time staff augmentation, to break/fix contracts, to ad hoc project-based engagements with a complete project management team. Michael is based out of ImagIT’s headquarters in Chicago, IL.
CompTIA Communities are member-driven groups focused on advancing the IT industry, building business relationships, and sharing ideas and experience. The association has 10 communities, and each is specific to a technology, business model, geographic territory, or industry cause.
The CompTIA Future Leaders Community was founded with the idea of understanding and embracing the multi-generational workforce and building best practices by:
Providing guidance on how companies should position themselves to best leverage the talent and skills from diverse generations
Building programs to mentor future leaders to take on leadership positions as the baby boomers retire by providing opportunities for older generations to develop a deeper understanding of the needs and drivers for millennials as they grow in their careers
Capturing and communicating the IT needs of future leaders as a means of uncovering new IT opportunities to serve this generation
CompTIA Community members include IT professionals, vendors, distributors and thought leaders who work together on the issues and programs that will shape the future of the IT industry.
Regarding his appointment Michael says:
“I’m very excited to be a member of CompTIA’s Future Leaders Community Executive Council and I look forward to working with the other council members. CompTIA is a leader in the IT industry and the council plays a key role in fostering relationships within the technology ecosystem.
As part of the CompTIA Future Leaders Community I will engage with and educate new members. My perspective on the industry as a service provider to enterprise, MSP, and channel partners will allow me to be a valuable resource for members and leaders of the community. I am enthusiastic about technology and am proud to facilitate growth and innovation. My background and track record at ImagIT show a consistent focus on communication, partnerships, and best practices. This is something I hope to encourage within the Association in order to build more bridges within CompTIA and the channel community as a whole.”
ImagIT congratulates Michael on his appointment to the council. ImagIT would also like to extend our congratulations to Misty Ro, Sheryne Glicksman, and Miranda Ruane who were also newly named to the executive council.
